Universal Cross Play Guide
From CatCraft Wiki
CatCraft is a Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition server that aims to expand and enhance vanilla survival gameplay.
CatCraft supports universal cross-play, so both Java and Bedrock players can join the network. You can play with friends and family on different platforms in the same realm.
If you have both a Java and a Bedrock account, you can link them with Global Sync. Then you can play on your computer at home and carry on from where you left off on your phone when you’re out.
Global Syncing
Global syncing links a Bedrock account to a Java account, so the Bedrock account shares the Java account’s progress, including its rank, claims, inventory, position and homes. To link your accounts, follow the steps below.
Steps
- On your Bedrock account, join the server link.geysermc.org with port 19132.
- Type /linkaccount to get a unique code, and write it down.
- Log off, then join the same server, link.geysermc.org, on your Java Edition account.
- Type /linkaccount {code}, replacing {code} with the code from step 2.
- Wait a minute or two for the link to complete. When you next join CatCraft on your Bedrock account, it will share your Java Edition account’s progress.
Note. To unlink your accounts, type /unlinkaccount.
