Summary
Most CatCraft crate items show a rarity at the bottom of their tooltip. The rarity tells you what kind of crate the item comes from. You can browse every item, and filter by rarity, crate and year, in the Item Catalogue. Every crate and its rewards are listed on All Crates.
The rarities
| Rarity | What it means |

| SEASONAL RARE | Items from the Halloween, Winter and Xmas, New Years, Valentines, Shamrock, Easter, Birthday (anniversary), Summer and Fall seasonal crates, plus the 2021 Rare Treasure and 2023 Pirate Island crates. This is the most common rarity, with around 870 items. For example,  Acorn Armorplate. |
| EXCLUSIVE RARE | Items from themed crates that aren’t tied to a season, such as the StarCats, Anime, Space, Void, Sci-Fi, Magic, Medieval, Sorcerer, Retro, Steampunk, Sports and Staff crates. Around 650 items. For example,  Alliance Lightsaber. |
| ULTRA-LEGENDARY | The headline items of a crate. Most seasonal and themed crates have one to three of them, and some CatGod crates have one too. Around 120 items across nearly 60 crates. For example,  Angel Wings. |
| LEGENDARY | CatGod gear, meaning the weapons, tools, armour and plushies from the CatGod crates (Abasi, Horus, Ra, Bastet and the other gods) and the Dragongear crate. Around 140 items. For example,  Abasi Sword. |
| EVENT RARE | Items from in-game event crates, such as the Seashell, Sand Dollar, Aloha, Aztec Dungeon, Crab and Echoes of the End crates. Around 40 items. For example,  Aloha Spatula. |
| VALENTINES RARE | The original 2021 Valentines crate items. Only 10 of these exist. For example,  ❤ Beloved Boots ❤. |
Items with no rarity line are everyday rewards, such as claim blocks, keys and resources from the vote and cat crates, the maze crates and the early Pirate Island crates.
Getting crate keys
- Voting. Every vote gives you a vote crate key. When the server’s vote total reaches 150, a piñata party starts at spawn, with a very high chance of winning a CatGod crate key. See Getting Started.
- Mining. Cat crate keys can be found in emerald, diamond and gold ore in the main Overworld and the Resource world. See Cat crate keys.
- CatGod keys. Redeem a CatGod key at the crate in the hollow remains of the dragon at /catgod. CatGod keys can also be bought from the server store. See CatGod Legendary Items.
