Summary
When you want a break from survival, CatCraft has minigames you can play with friends. Mazes and a parkour course are open all year, and the minigames world is a short teleport away. In summer, the limited-time Aloha Resort event adds bowling, ice hockey and a mob arena dungeon.
All year
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /games | Teleport to the minigames world, on top of a giant turtle. |
| /warp maze_lobby | Go to the mazes. |
| /warp parkour | Go to the parkour course at spawn. |
Mazes come in easy, medium and hard, and give prizes when you finish. If you get stuck in a maze, type /escape to leave. See Survival for more about the mazes.
Aloha Resort summer event (limited time)
The Aloha Resort is a seasonal summer event. Its games and their rewards are only available while the event runs, so check Events and our Discord announcements for when it’s open.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /summer | Teleport to the Aloha Resort while the event is running. |
Some resort games need a keypass, which you can buy at the resort’s lobby entrance.
Ten-pin bowling
Roll the ball down the lane, knock down the pins and aim for strikes.
- Where. Inside the resort, one flight of stairs down. You need a keypass.
- How to join. Type /bowlingparty join at the bowling alley. Up to 10 players can play in one game.
- Rules. A game has 10 rounds. In each round you get two throws to knock down as many pins as you can, and you have 30 seconds per round. Knocking all 10 pins down gets you a strike or a spare and extra points. Left-click the ball to throw it.
- The player with the most points wins a prize.
Ice hockey
Slide across the ice rink and hit the puck into the other team’s goal.
- Where. Head to the lowest floor of the resort and enter the stadium. You need a keypass.
- How to join. Walk onto the rink to join a team.
- Rules. Left-click the puck to hit it. Score more goals than the other team. Players can’t hurt each other during a game, and you keep your inventory.
Aztec Dungeon (mob arena)
Enter a hidden underwater temple and fight your way through waves of ancient mobs.
- Where. At the resort, follow the trail to the campfires and listen to Koa’s story to find the way in.
- Difficulty. There is an easy and a hard version. Each has six rooms followed by a boss room.
- Players. 1 to 10 players can play together, and each player has 3 lives.
- Rules. Each room has several waves of mobs to defeat. Arena mobs glow red so they’re easy to spot. You don’t get hungry, your health regenerates, and your gear doesn’t lose durability. You can’t drop or pick up items inside the arena.
Bring your best gear, and team up with friends for the hard dungeon.
