Eye of the Abyss is an ultra-legendary item from the Eldritch Crate (2026) on CatCraft.
How it works
- Grasp of the Abyss. Sneak while you shoot. When the arrow hits a hostile mob, or lands within 4 blocks of one, 7 to 10 black tentacles burst from the ground and grab every hostile mob within 4 blocks, up to 8 at once.
- Held in place. Grabbed mobs can’t walk, jump or be knocked away for 2.5 seconds while the tentacles slam them twice for 11 damage each. Players are only grabbed when both of you have PvP on, they stand outside claims and aren’t flying, and take 5 per slam.
- Cooldown. 10 seconds. Shots without sneaking, and shots during the cooldown, are normal arrows. If there’s nothing to grab, no cooldown is used.
- Safe for pets and villagers. Animals, villagers, pets and bosses like the Ender Dragon and the Wither are never grabbed, and the tentacles don’t change any blocks.
- Kept on death. You keep the Eye of the Abyss when you die.
