=Getting Started Guide= This guide is for new and long-time players to discover all the features available on CatCraft. ==Selecting a Realm π== Welcome to CatCraft! To get started, you can choose your Realm. All Realms are the same, but each has its unique overworld, nether and end worlds, and different opening dates. The older the Realm, the easier it will be to get started since the global market is cheaper, meaning you can get items and blocks for fewer diamonds. The newest Realm is an excellent choice if you prefer to stay up-to-date. Whatever Realm you decide to play, you will surely have a great time! ==Starting your Adventure πͺ΅== After entering your Realm of choice, you'll find yourself at spawn. To get to the main overworld, head straight ahead until you see the wilderness portal. You can travel through this portal to teleport to the main Overworld or type the command /wild and select the Overworld option on the left. On CatCraft, we have two Overworlds: the main Overworld and the Resource world. The main Overworld is where you'll build your base, farms, and anything you don't want to be reset. The Resource world is for collecting resources - this world resets every two months. It's handy to remember that the two Overworld's work in opposite timezones, so during the day in the main Overworld, you can build, and when it's night, you can travel to the Resource world, where it will be the day. You can continue collecting resources without worrying about hostile mobs. ==Surviving β€οΈ== After you have teleported to the main Overworld, it's time to start your adventure! To get yourself settled, why not try collecting wood? Once you have a good amount of wood, you can craft iron tools to make your life easier. Once you have your tools, it might be a good idea to build a tiny house to stay in until you start exploring! TIP: Did you know that you can instantly chop the bottom log of a tree to chop the entire tree at once? Also, if you sneak while mining ores, you can immediately mine the whole ore vein! Good luck, and happy exploring! ==Claiming ποΈ== Congratulations! You have just built your first house. Now it's time to make sure it's secure. Claiming your land will prevent other players from building or taking things from your base, which is against the server rules. To claim your land, follow the easy steps in our claiming guide. You can find it right here. ==Setting a home π == To instantly teleport to your home, you can set two homes (by default) and one bed home. Setting a home allows you to return to your base without the need of travelling. Set a home using the command /sethome [Homename] For example, to set a home called base, use the command /sethome base Then to teleport to your base, type /home base If you want to be able to quickly get back to your base, you can set up to two homes and one bed home. Setting a home is super easy! All you have to do is type /sethome [Homename] into the chat. For example, to set a home called 'base', type /sethome base. And then, to teleport back to your base, just type /home base. Simple as that! Oh no! You died! Don't worry, you can get back to your last location with ease. Just type /back in the chat, and you'll be right back where you were before you died. ==Get free rewards β¨== Voting on CatCraft is an exciting way to enjoy the server even more and help it grow! By voting, you can receive vote crate keys, have the chance to win at the monthly top voters' leaderboard, and enjoy instant access to the pinata event at spawn! To vote, click on the links at https://catcraft.net/vote and enter your player IGN on the websites. Note: You'll need to enter an underscore before your name if you're on bedrock edition, and some vote sites only support java edition users. Once you've voted, keep an eye on the server's votes - when the total reaches 150, the pinata party will begin at spawn! Here, you can hit the pinata to win free rewards and have a very high chance of winning a dragon crate key! So what are you waiting for? Vote on CatCraft today and reap the rewards! Vote for us here ==Mining βοΈ== If you're looking for lots of common ores, then the Cat Canyon Mines is the perfect place to start! You'll find Coal, Iron, Gold and even some Diamonds. To get there, just type /mines into your chat box. You'll have all the resources you need in no time! ==Intermediate steps πͺ== Ready to upgrade your gear and get the best deals? Try out the CatCraft market! Just type in the command /market, and you'll be taken there. Once you're there, you can look around inside the shops and see what cheap offers you can find. To buy an item, right-click the sign on the chestshop to use the diamonds in your inventory. Have fun and happy trading! ==Diamond riches π== Congratulations on all your hard work! You must have a lot of resources now that you've been mining and farming for a few weeks. If you have at least 40 diamonds, why not open a shop and start earning even more diamonds? Shops are a great way to earn diamonds while offline since players can buy things from your shop even when you're not around. Plus, you can get your own shop for only 40 diamonds! If you're interested, check out our Market Guide for more information on how to buy a shop. ==Clans ποΈ== If you've been playing for a while and want to connect with other players, why not join or create a clan? Clans are great for fostering friendships and communicating with other players via private clan chat. Joining a clan is a great way to take your gaming experience to the next level! To start or join a clan, type the command /clan ==PvP π₯== Are you interested in testing your skills against other players? If so, you can join the PvP arena and battle other players in a secure setting without worrying about losing your items. To enter, simply type /pvp into the chat window.
